The Idolatry of Abortion

Psalm 106:36-39

And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

     The idolatry of Israel led them to sacrifice their children to heathen idols.  The Idolatry of abortion in America is the sovereign will of feminist women and effeminate men  in this country.  Abortion is easily the sacred sacrament of radical feminism.  The creed goes something like this;

If I want my baby, my baby is a person and if I don't want my baby, it's not a person.  If I want her, its illegal to kill her.  If I don't want her, its legal to kill her.  Therefore the personhood of my baby and her right to be protected under law are defined by my sovereign desire.  The right of my will is the right to kill.

     The state of New York, under governor Cuomo just passed the most radical abortion bill in the nation, allowing abortion through the entire pregnancy.  This unrestricted violence of abortion treats the unborn with more antipathy than criminals.  New York state does not have the death penalty for adult murderers, but it does have it for innocent babies.  Not to be outdone, Virginia tried for a bill that would have effectively allowed for a baby to be born and the mother to then decide on the child’s fate.  The bill failed, thank God, but revealed what the true end-game of the “pro-choicemovement is really about.

     The pink lighting of One World Trade Center after passage of the New York bill looked eerily like the needle used to supply the lethal injection to the living unborn child. Just as sickening was the sight of the New York state legislature applauding themselves after their decision to legalize barbarism of the worst sort!  As Dr. Ben Carson, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, said, If it's not a human being, then why are you harvesting organs from it?

     The national sin of the idolatry of the woman’s will is summarized by New York Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins when she said, We're saying here in New York, women's lives matter.  We're saying here in New York, women's decisions matter.  Apparently, in the arrogant opinion of these pro-death murderers, babies lives don’t matter, nor the future opportunity for them to ever make a decision for themselves.  This is the ultimate it's all about me statement ever codified into the law of the land.

     Ultimately, its idolatry of the human will over the natural and spiritual laws of a supreme, sovereign lawgiver who warned that men would reap what they have sown.

     As a nation, we must return to the truth that human life is not a creature of political definition, but a divine truth toward which we need to be in deference and awe, and be in awe of the God that created it. If we don’t, we will learn the hard way what God’s judgements of idolatrous Israel were all about.

                        Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived;  God is not mocked:  for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
